Meet Ezra

Hi, I'm Ezra!

I started Swim With Ezra so I could offer private lessons that feel patient, personal, and encouraging. I have several years of experience teaching children at different swimming levels, from beginners becoming comfortable in the water to developing swimmers improving their technique.

My goal is to create a patient, encouraging environment where each swimmer can build confidence and make steady progress. Every lesson is adjusted to the swimmer's current abilities, comfort level, and individual goals.

Lessons may focus on water safety, floating, kicking, breathing, freestyle, backstroke, and other foundational swimming skills. I believe learning to swim should feel positive, supportive, and enjoyable.

Why Swim With Ezra Was Started

Ezra started Swim With Ezra to make room for patient, personal instruction. Private lessons allow the instructor to focus on one swimmer’s comfort, abilities, and goals rather than expecting every swimmer to move through the same lesson plan.

Ezra’s Teaching Approach

Patient, Individualized Instruction

The swimmer’s current readiness guides the lesson. Familiar skills can be revisited, and new movements can be practiced in manageable steps without a fixed timeline.

Different Learning Styles

Ezra has experience working with swimmers of different ages and abilities, including swimmers who benefit from additional support or a different teaching approach.

Confidence Alongside Technique

Water comfort and confidence remain part of learning, whether a swimmer is practicing floating and kicking or refining freestyle, backstroke, and breathing.

What Families Can Expect

A Supportive Lesson Environment

Lessons are intended to feel positive, patient, and encouraging. Skills are adjusted around the swimmer’s comfort and learning goals.

Individual Attention in a Shared Pool

Swim With Ezra primarily offers one-on-one private instruction. On some lesson days, when an additional instructor is available, two private lessons may take place at the same time in different areas of the pool. Each swimmer has their own instructor and receives individual instruction; students are not combined into a group lesson.

Parents Nearby

A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site and immediately available unless another arrangement has been approved. Questions are welcome before or after the lesson when time allows.
