Policies & Waiver

Scheduling

Lessons are offered on select dates and times based on instructor, pool, and facility availability. A requested time is not reserved or confirmed until I approve it directly and the family completes the required registration steps.

Lesson Length and Pricing

30-minute private lesson: $65
60-minute private lesson: $130

I may recommend a lesson length based on the swimmer's age, experience, endurance, comfort level, and goals.

Payment

Monthly Payment

Lessons are scheduled and reserved on a monthly basis. Payment for all confirmed lessons in the upcoming month is due in full before the first scheduled lesson of that month.

A swimmer's lesson times are not fully reserved until the monthly schedule has been confirmed and payment has been received.

Cash is the preferred payment method. Zelle or Venmo may also be accepted when arranged in advance.

Late or missing payment may result in the lesson time being released to another family.

If a family begins lessons after the month has already started, payment is due in full for all remaining confirmed lessons in that month before the first lesson.

Cancellations & Missed Lessons

Parent-cancelled or missed lessons are non-refundable and make-up lessons are not guaranteed.

If Swim With Ezra cancels a lesson because of instructor availability, pool conditions, weather, or facility issues, the family will receive an appropriate credit, reschedule, or refund.

Courtesy exceptions may occasionally be offered at Swim With Ezra’s discretion but are not guaranteed.

Late Arrivals

Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time. Arriving late does not extend the lesson.

Make-Up Lessons

For parent-cancelled or missed lessons, make-up lessons are not guaranteed. Courtesy exceptions may occasionally be offered at Swim With Ezra’s discretion but are not guaranteed.

Parent or Guardian Supervision

A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site and immediately available during the lesson unless another arrangement has been approved in advance.

Swim Diapers

Swimmers who are not fully toilet-trained must wear an appropriate swim diaper.

Facility Rules

Families must follow all communicated property and pool rules.

• Street parking must be used.
• Do not block or park in the driveway.
• No smoking, alcohol, or pets are permitted at the property.

Weather and Pool Conditions

If Swim With Ezra cancels a lesson because of instructor availability, pool conditions, weather, or facility issues, the family will receive an appropriate credit, reschedule, or refund.

Bathroom Availability

Because lessons take place at a privately owned residential pool, bathroom access may depend on whether the homeowners are available.

I plan to provide bathroom access on every date that lessons are offered. If bathroom access will not be available for a specific lesson date, families will be notified in advance so they can plan accordingly.

Swimmers are still encouraged to use the restroom before arriving whenever possible.

Private Location

Lessons are held at a private pool in San Leandro. The exact address is only shared with confirmed families.

Waiver & Registration

Once a suitable time is selected, I will privately send the required waiver and registration information.

These website policies are a general overview. Families must review and sign the complete Swim With Ezra waiver and agreement before participating.
